Ahwazi worker Mr. Reza Al-Kathir, resident of the “Hur” area (Beit Saad), a fired worker of “Haft Tappeh” (Qumat) sugarcane factory committed suicide after being fired on Saturday the 12th of December 2020.

Martyr Reza has three sisters and a disabled brother, who was the only source of income for the family. Reza has engaged recently and was dismissed from work without any rational reason and despite a number of time referring to the company’s head office, he has not got any answer to his demands.

Reza was going through severe economic circumstances and he was unable to provide basic life necessities for his family and repeated “NO” answer from the company chair “Asad Beighi”, led to his own execution.

Reza was hospitalized after committing suicide, but died today.
