Request for Cooperation from the Ahwaz Youth Union to Human Rights Organizations Regarding Political Prisoners in Ahwaz

The Ahwaz Youth Union, relying on information collected by the Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights in 2024, has published a list of Ahwazi political prisoners. In a humanitarian effort, the Union is appealing for cooperation from human rights organizations worldwide to address the plight of Ahwazi political prisoners.

Context and Challenges:

Reports have been compiled by local journalists and families of detainees. Unfortunately, many young Ahwazis are arrested or killed annually, with little to no information about their conditions in Iranian prisons.
