The villages of Ahwaz have been without water for more than ten days.

The villagers say they have been suffering from a water shortage for ten days.
Amir, a young man from the village, says that if it weren’t for the intervention of fire brigades from Ahwaz, especially engineer Sarhan Khalaf Dakht, it is unknown what would have happened to us.
Abdelreza: We are grateful to the fire department in Ahwaz, especially Sabz Ali Kamal, for their humanity and sending water tankers to us.
Haj Bandar, one of the people in charge of the Hosseiniehs in the village, said: We are in distress as there is no water even to wash cups and dishes in the Hosseiniehs.
Alireza Arab said: The village has been without water for ten days, and we have informed all officials from the governor to the local manager, but so far no action has been taken to restore water to the village.
Hussein, a young man from the village, said: We have events tomorrow and the day after to feed the mourners in several Hosseiniehs for the Day of Abbas, and we fear we will be embarrassed in front of our guests.
