Persecution, Discrimination, and Daily Arrests in Occupied Ahwaz

Occupied Ahwaz is witnessing the continued repressive policies by the Iranian occupying authorities, leading to widespread persecution of Ahwazi citizens and the denial of their basic human rights as stipulated in all international texts and laws, especially the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. These policies include various repressive measures ranging from arbitrary arrests, torture in prisons, extrajudicial killings, and deprivation of jobs, passports, higher education, and positions unless they prove their loyalty to the Iranian occupying authorities.

The people of Ahwaz complain of systematic marginalization and difficult living conditions as a result of the Iranian government’s policies aimed at suppressing any attempt to demand political and social rights, especially their right to self-determination and independence, which are considered major crimes, leading to severe punishment for those accused. The Iranian occupying authorities are accused of committing serious human rights violations in Ahwaz.

Many international organizations have issued appeals calling on the occupying authorities to curb repressive policies and not to use force in dealing with the Ahwazis. However, the occupation seeks to silence any opposing voices through the use of excessive force and violence.

International calls and human rights organizations continue to demand that the Iranian authorities stop these repressive policies and respect the rights of Ahwazi citizens and their legitimate rights. However, the situation seems to remain unchanged and is worsening with the continuation of the occupation’s policies to impose the status quo through all means and terrorist methods.

An outspoken critic of the Iranian regime, Hossein bravely highlights the grave human rights violations inflicted upon the Ahwazi Arabs. Through his compelling narratives, he seeks to amplify international consciousness of the challenges the Ahwazi Arabs encounter. His prose resonates as a defiant call for a world that upholds the inherent rights of every individual, irrespective of their ethnic roots or background.
