A teenager from Ahwaz was killed and several others were injured by security forces

On Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 8 a.m., security forces, accompanied by Yadollah Marashi and Heydar Jami, attacked the Shakarah neighborhood of Kut Abdullah to demolish the homes of several citizens.

The residents of Shakarah resisted this action through gathering and protest, leading to confrontations with security forces involving beatings, gunfire, resulting in the death of 17-year-old Mohammad Samiri and injuries to Karim Naseri, Yasin Bavi, and several other protesters.
