Arrest of Arab Civil Activist Milad Bahri

Milad Bahri, a civil activist, photographer, and journalist from the city of Falahiyeh, was arrested on the evening of January 7, 2025 (17 Dey 1403), by the intelligence agency.

Milad Bahri has a prior record of arrests and imprisonment due to his civil activities. The reasons for this latest arrest remain unknown.

Wave of Arrests in Occupied Ahvaz and Surrounding Areas

According to reports from human rights activists in Ahvaz, recent days have witnessed a widespread campaign of arrests in the city of Ahvaz and neighboring towns. This campaign has targeted political, cultural, and civil activists, especially those with a history of arrest or imprisonment.

Reports indicate that intelligence agencies have contacted these activists, threatening them, while others were arrested without prior warning. Additionally, many social media activists have been threatened or summoned.
