{"id":3117,"date":"2019-04-15T07:16:14","date_gmt":"2019-04-14T23:16:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/acfh.info\/en\/?p=3117"},"modified":"2019-04-15T07:16:14","modified_gmt":"2019-04-14T23:16:14","slug":"mass-arrests-against-members-of-the-ahwazi-popular-committees-that-were-aiding-the-flood-victims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acfh.info\/en\/mass-arrests-against-members-of-the-ahwazi-popular-committees-that-were-aiding-the-flood-victims\/","title":{"rendered":"Mass arrests against members of the Ahwazi popular committees that were aiding the flood victims"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ahwazi human rights activists quoted to Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights (ACHR) that the Iranian security service has launched mass campaign of raids and arrests against number of Ahwazi activists in the Mallashyeh district of Ahwaz capital on Saturday, April 13, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The activists said that the most of the detainees were individual who has helped the Popular Committees for the relief of the deliberate flood\u2019s victims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sources also stated that the detainees were reportedly taken to an unknown location without being told about the reasons for their arrest or the charges against them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the exposure of the Ahwazi northern part to the deliberate flood, and failure to provide Iranian assistance to the flood victims, popular committees were established in many areas of Ahwaz to help the displaced and affected by the floods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights managed to obtain the following names of detainees that were arrested:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Rasool Fartoosi<\/li><li>Ebrahim Badawi (poet)<\/li><li>Amin Silawi (poet)<\/li><li>Ali Mousawi (poet)<\/li><li>Hassan Beit Esehagh<\/li><li>Emad Haidari<\/li><li>Ali Naseri<\/li><li>Hatam Dehimi<\/li><li>Ahmad Badawi (poet),<\/li><li>Hossein Hamoudi<\/li><li>Mehdi Sharifi<\/li><li>Ghasem Tamimi<\/li><li>Aref Sarkhi<\/li><li>Foad Badawi<\/li><li>Kazem Marwani<\/li><li>Mohsen Zowidat<\/li><li>Habib Korushat<\/li><li>Masoud Harizawi<\/li><li>Naji Sawari<\/li><li>Haidar Silawi<\/li><li>Masoud Mansouri<\/li><li>Ebrahim Dahimi<\/li><li>Ali Haidari son of Kazem<\/li><li>Mehdi Farhani<\/li><li>Adnan Haidari son of Karim<\/li><li>Hamzeh Haidari son of Sahi<\/li><li>Mehdi Sawari.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following names are from Ghoriyeh Village of Shuaibya city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ahmad Kaabi<\/li><li>Yaqoob Kaabi<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another Ahwazi citizen, named as Khalid Sawari, 29, and from Ahwaz capital Alawi district, following a summons issued to his father, was referred to the intelligence headquarters for clarification and arrested instead of his father. Khaled Sawari is married and has two children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights has understand from reliable sources that all names of Mallashyeh people were sent by the head of Mallashyeh Basij headquarter named as Moslem Thaalebi. The names were sent to the intelligence department known as \u201cSetad Khabari\u201d two days before the arrests taking place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"94\" height=\"258\" src=\"http:\/\/acfh.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/moslem-Thaalebi.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3119\" \/><figcaption>Moslem Thaalebi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Floods continue to surround most areas of the Khuzestan (part of Al-Ahwaz) province that is located in south and southwestern Iran since 23<sup>rd<\/sup>of March 2019.
