{"id":3075,"date":"2019-03-17T02:06:18","date_gmt":"2019-03-16T18:06:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/acfh.info\/en\/?p=3075"},"modified":"2019-03-17T02:06:18","modified_gmt":"2019-03-16T18:06:18","slug":"mass-arbitrary-arrests-in-different-places-of-al-ahwaz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acfh.info\/en\/mass-arbitrary-arrests-in-different-places-of-al-ahwaz\/","title":{"rendered":"Mass arbitrary arrests in different places of Al-Ahwaz"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Ahwazi activists quoted to Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights (ACHR) that Mr. Hadi Marwani (Halaf), an Ahwazi Arab young from the Hamidiyeh city, was arrested by the Iranian intelligence service and transferred to an unknown location on Friday the 8<sup>th<\/sup>of March 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Hadi Marwani, 29, married, is a father of a child and living in \u201cBonyad Shahid\u201d district of Hamidiyeh city.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite of the numerous followings up and of the detainee\u2019s family to the Hamidiyeh security centre, until the moment of writing this report, no detailed information was provided on the reason for his detention, whereabouts and his situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In similar context, Ali Kaab Omeir, 17, is a student in last year of high school and resident of \u201cKian Abad\u201d district of Ahwaz capital. He was arrested by agents of the Intelligence Agency from his home on February 8, 2017. He has been active in social networks in supporting protest against Karun River water diversion and air pollution all over Al-Ahwaz, and has also participated in several popular gatherings, including the formation of human chains in protest of Karun River water transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Iranian intelligence agent threatened his father to arrest for his follow up to find his son\u2019s where about. According to his father, the intelligence officers even broke Ali Kaab Omeir\u2019s left hand during the arrest. They searched the whole house, seized computers, and Ali\u2019s mobile phones and then they take Ali with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also the Iranian intelligence service has arrested five Ahwazi football fans without prior notice on Wednesday the 13<sup>th<\/sup>of March 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ACHR has identified following five names:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ali Sawari<\/li><li>Ebrahim Mogheinemi<\/li><li>Yousef Sawari<\/li><li>Mohammad Sawari<\/li><li>Abdulghader Sawari&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the wide following up by the detainee\u2019s families to the Iranian official departments, all attempts were unsuccessful up to writing of this report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The elements of Iranian intelligence office has transferred two Ahwazi detainees&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">from Sheyban Prison to the Intelligence Detention Centre on Monday the 11<sup>th<\/sup>of March 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ACHR has recognised the detainees names as Ahmad Maramazi and Saeed Manab\u00ed and there is no information regards their whereabouts and the reason for their transfer so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ahmad Maramazi, 32, married, had two children and was arrested by the intelligence agency on February 9, 2019, in the city of Hamidiyeh.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saeed Manab\u00ed, married, 31, from Hamidiyeh city has been arrested by the Iranian intelligence service along with a number of Ahwazi citizens on Friday the 8<sup>th<\/sup>of February 2019.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">16-Mar-2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to Ahwazi activists quoted to Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights (ACHR) that Mr. Hadi Marwani (Halaf), an Ahwazi Arab young from the Hamidiyeh city, was arrested by the Iranian intelligence service and transferred to an unknown location on Friday the 8thof March 2019.
