The Iranian regime told the Indigenous\nAhwazi Arab farmers to leave their home land to seek safety elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How is it possible to have flood in\nAhwaz whilst have water shortage in Ahwaz?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/acfh.info\/en\/?p=2879\">Well\nto here is a list of Ahwaz water transfer tunnels that causing the water\nshortage in Ahwaz;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Tunnel\nwater transfer projects, that is to be diverted to the desert provinces\ninclude:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Koohrang\n1 tunnel to Zayandehrud River (This tunnel was constructed before the\nrevolution in 1979)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Koohrang\n2 tunnel to Zayandehrud River<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Koohrang\n3 tunnel to Zayandehrud River<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Gholab 1\ntunnel<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Gholab 2\ntunnel<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Water\nTransfer Plan (Vanak \u2013 Soleghan), With the aim of providing water for Rafsanjan\nPistachio gardens<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Qomroud\nTransfer Plan<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>One of\nthe largest water transfer projects in the Middle East, which is from the Dez\nriver in Aligudarz, and according to experts, is the best water in the world.\nThis project is used for providing water for drinking, agricultural and\nindustrial purposes, that feed 10 towns and 30 villages, including (Qom, Saveh,\nSalafchegan, Golpayegan, Khomein, Mahallat, Nim Rud).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Kamal\nSaleh water transfer project<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Water\ndiverted from Dez dam for Arak Industrial use)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Behesht\nAbad Transfer Plan<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This\nproject is one of the major projects for the transfer of more than one billion\ncubic meters\u2019 water for the supply of agricultural and industrial water in the\nprovinces of Kerman, Isfahan and Yazd.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Chashmeh\nLanghan tunnel<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Water\ntransfers by this tunnel is mainly uses for Zayandehrud river in Isfahan.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Khadanghestan\ntunnel<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Water\ntransfers by this tunnel is mainly uses for Zayandehrud river in Isfahan.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Worth noting that Farmers were fined by the government for farming in their own land.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Man Made Floods Lead Families to Flee their Homes\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3Njs55TGzT8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption>The video will become available shortly.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The situation is so bad in Ahwaz that in\n2018 <a href=\"http:\/\/acfh.info\/en\/?p=2645\">Ahwaz\u2019s dust level reached 120 times\nthe safety limit set by the WHO (World Health Organization)<\/a>, all thanks to Government\nMismanagement which led to Rivers and Wetlands Drying up from the above\nreasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whilst we have man-made water shortage in\nAhwaz, now we have a man-made flood in Ahwaz<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights\nreiterates the need for the international community to hold Iranian government\naccountable for their actions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We, Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights are calling on all human\nrights organizations, including Amnesty International and the European\nParliament to address the situation of Ahwazi Arabs and put an end to human\nrights violations towards Ahwazis.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hossein Bouazar is a human rights activist\nfrom the Ahwaz region in Iran.
