The Iranian intelligence service has arrested an Ahwazi Arab men named as Tariq Badawi and Ali Khasraji in early hours of Thursday the 10th of March 2016.
Detainee Tariq Badawi son of Abdulaziz, 25 years old living Al-Zohor (Godasht) district of Ahwaz capital and Ali Khasraji 29 years old, Married and have child named as Osman from Aldayereh district of Ahwaz capital both were holy Koran teachers that been arrested and taken to unknown location by intelligence service.
The detainees’ families up to written of the news has no contact or not knowing the place that their beloved sons kept which increases concerns among families that their son are at risk of severe torture at the hand of intelligence service.
The Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights (ACHR) has received from reliable source within Al-Ahwaz that the mistreatment of Ahwazi prisoners in a newly constructed “Sheyban” prison has led to the hunger strike for a large number of Ahwazi prisoners on Monday the 7th 0f Mrch 2016.
The source added that the Ahwazi prisoners are having loss of drinkable water and Healthy Eating as well as preventing prisoners to contact with their families and repeated insults and baths is unsuitable for bathing due to water rafting.
As a consequence of ongoing strike since it starts many days ago, the state health of most of the Ahwazi prisoners been deteriorated, especially prisoners named as “Yahia Nasseri” and “Nazim Bureihi”, who are serving long time imprisonment.
In similar context number of Ahwazi prisoners in “Sheyban” prison been poisoned where Sheyban prison guard transferred food from outside the prison that was brought by one of the candidates for the Ahwazi prisoners on Friday the 11th of March 2016.
According to news received by centre stating that several of Ahwazi prisoners’ health been deteriorated and many of them not been transferred for treatment by the prison’s gurad.
