The Iranian occupation regime issued hefty sentences against four Ahwazi prisoners

In the context of its practice of terrorizing the Ahwazi people and practicing crime, the Iranian occupation regime has issued unfair judgments against four Ahwazi men, and the security services of the Persian occupation and the gang of the criminal Rouhani government in occupied Al-Ahwaz have escalated their unfair judicial rulings against the Ahwazi prisoners who have been in their prisons for years. the Iranian occupation regime increased its arrests and terror against the Ahwazi in order to expand the state of terror among the Ahwazi people.

Reliable sources reported to the Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights that the Iranian judiciary system issued unfair and unjust judgments against four Ahwazi prisoners on Saturday, the 3rd of October 2020 who had arrested all detainees since October 2018, and their names are as follows:

1- Ahmed Suwaidi son of Saeed – 34 years old – married (sentenced to 15 years imprisonment),

2- Jassim Suwaidi son of Muhammad – 21 years old – unmarried (Sentenced to 16 years imprisonment).

3-  Ali Suwaidi son of Saddam, 46 years old, married, and has two daughters (He was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment and two years prison in exile (away from Ahwaz)).

4- Abdullah Suwaidi son of Saeed, 45 years old, married, (Sentenced to 27 years imprisonment).

It is noteworthy that the Iranian security forces had arrested these four prisoners, and more than 800 other Ahwazi citizens (before and after) in the wake of the Iranian military parade, which was held in the city of Ahwaz on Saturday, September 22, 2018. The occupation, as usual, accused the four detainees of promoting the Sunni sect in the village of “Al-Hajjiah” and the city of “Al-Khafajiya”, as the Iranian occupation falsely accuses the Ahwazi young of (Wahhabism) and that they are working against the security of the Iranian state, and they have been subjected to insults and physical and psychological torture throughout the past two years.

The Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights calls on the international human rights organizations, human rights bodies, and professionals to expose the Iranian atrocities and the illegal violations against the Ahwazi people and to put pressure on the regime internationally. The Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights calls upon the international community to stop the Iranian execution campaigns and unfair sentences and to provide lawyers for Ahwazi prisoners and detainees to be able to defend them in the Iranian courts. Basically, the abuse and violations that the Ahwazi Arab people are exposed to is something that has exceeded all horizons of injustice and encroachment.
