Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights calls for a conference in Canada

Languages are the most powerful instruments of preserving and developing our tangible and intangible heritage. All moves to promote the

dissemination of mother tongues will serve not only to encourage linguistic diversity and multilingual education but also to develop fuller awareness of linguistic and cultural traditions throughout the world and to inspire solidarity based on understanding, tolerance and dialogue.

Iranian authorities are systematically destroying non-Persian Nations and their languages in the occupied territories of so called Iran. We are coming together to defy Iranian regime’s oppressive policies towards millions of non-Persians who are deprived of their basic human right of learning and speaking their own mother tongue.

Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights with other Human Rights Centres would like to invite you all to a conference for international mother language day to illustrate and discuss Iranian Human Rights violations against non-Persian nations by banning them from the right of learning and speaking their own mother tongue.
