reports received by Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights (ACHR) from Ahwazi human rights activist within Al-Ahwaz

According to reports received by Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights (ACHR) from Ahwazi human rights activist within Al-Ahwaz, an Ahwazi Arab prisoners named Majed Alboghebish been severely tortured by prison security guards that led to broken his two hands on 30th January 2016.

Majed was tranfered to Ahwaz capital Khomeini hospital due health weakening after bad distress on 31st January 2016.

One of the Alboghebish’s family member said thet Majed is in prison due to his incapability of paying the financial fine even though his imprisonment had been finished, converted to Sunni belief recently and prayed in prison in Sunni way that led to angering prison officer in such way that Majed’s hands were broken by severe torture.

Mr Majed Alboghebish born on 1969 son of Malek is married and have one child, living in “Hadbeh” village of Falahiyeh (Shadegan) city that been arrested in 2006 with pre-made charges by Iranian regime such as “propaganda against regime”, “acting against national security” to get rid of Ahwazi activists and by the Ahwaz revolutionary court’s judge named as “Dris Moslem” sentenced to eight years imprisonment and paying one billion Iranian Rials (equivalent to $ 33000).

Majed’s friends Mr Omid Baghlani born on 1980 and Mohammad Mojadam born on 1983 get away after Majed’s arrest where they been arrested on 2012 ans sentenced to 16 years imprisonment and financial fine of one billion Iranian Rials (equivalent to $ 33000).
