Systematic Anti-Arab Discrimination Under Scorching Heat: The Life of a Four-Year-Old Arab Girl in Abadan, a Victim of Injustice and Marginalization

A recently received video by the Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights – UK reveals the depth of a human tragedy and blatant discrimination under the authoritarian regime of Iran.
It shows the heartbreaking reality of a four-year-old Arab girl from Abadan, living with her mother after the death of her father, in unimaginable conditions — without any cooling device, without even a refrigerator, and utterly deprived of the most basic human necessities — all in the unbearable heat of southern Ahwaz.

This is not an isolated case.
It is a clear representation of the systematic policies of impoverishment, marginalization, and racial discrimination against the Arab people of Ahwaz.
In a city that hosts the largest oil refinery in the Middle East, lives a nation who benefit neither from the wealth beneath their feet nor from the dignity they deserve in the eyes of the regime.

The house in which this family lives lacks the most fundamental standards of human habitation — it is not fit for human life, nor even suitable for sheltering animals.

The Iranian regime, which for decades has falsely portrayed itself to the world as a “protector of the oppressed,” now stands silent — or worse, complicit — as it pushes the Arab people further into the margins of society with deliberate, racist policies.

The reality is this:
To be Arab in occupied Ahwaz is to carry an unspoken criminal label — one for which innocent children are paying with their lives.

The Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights – UK reiterates, based on clear evidence, that discrimination, imposed poverty, and systematic neglect of Arab citizens are not accidents, but rather embedded practices within the very structure of the Iranian regime.

To the International Community:

We call on all international human rights organizations — including the United Nations, Human Rights Watch, and UNICEF — to closely examine this footage and these reports.
See for yourselves how, in the 21st century, the authoritarian regime of Iran tramples the most basic rights of Arab children with ruthless indifference.

This is not just a report — it is a warning:
A warning from within a lifeless home, from a child suffocating without air or relief, and from a mother left entirely alone in the face of a corrupt system with neither a listening ear nor a living conscience.
