inequitable verdicts judgement issuance and arrest against Ahwazi activists
The Revolutionary Court issued a sentence of imprisonment in exile in Khorramabad Prison for three Sunni activists from residents of Mohammareh town (Khorramshahr).
The three activists named Shaker Tamimi, Ali Tamimi, son of Kazem, and Ali Tamimi, son of Batim, who were arrested a year ago because of their religion (Sunni) and advertising their religion.
According to sources informed us, these three individuals were in the Revolutionary Court without the presence of a lawyer, and for Shaker Tamimi and Ali-Kazem Tamimi, each of them are sentenced to 8 years in Khorramabad Prison, and Ali Tamimi was sentenced to 5 years’ imprisonment in the Khorramabad Prison, the Iranian court announced those orders just last week.
Also After the detainees being sentenced, they were transferred to Khorramabad prison directly without being allowed to appeal for their case.
Sources reported that the three prisoners were imprisoned in small cell with dimensions of three meters long and only two meters wide, where they were subjected to the worst forms of torture by Iranian intelligence service.
In similar context, the Iranian Revolutionary Court in Ahwaz capital issued an unfair ruling against Ahwazi activists on 16th of October 2017.
The sources pointed out that the activists were named as Mr. Ahmad Tamimi, also known as Niysi sentenced to two years, and Majed Echresh, who was sentenced to six years and six months, where the rules were signed by the judge of the second division of the Iranian Revolutionary Court, named as “Zare’aa”.
The court accused the activists of targeting Iranian national security by setting up chat rooms through the social networking “Whatsapp”, where subjects against the Iranian state security were raised in mentioned rooms.
The source expressed that the prisoner Ahmad Tamimi is thirty years old and lives in “al-Thawra” neighborhood west of Ahwaz capital. The prisoner is Majed Echresh, 19, who lives in al-Jarhi area of Mashour city.
The Centre knew that the activists had been arrested since the beginning of 2016 by the internet crimes agency in the north of Al-Ahwaz, and were transferred to the “Evin” prison in Tehran to investigate them, noting that after a month of detention were transferred to the “Sheyban” prison, in the Ahwaz capital.
Meanwhile, Ahwazi activists quoted that the two prisoners did not receive a fair trial, as they were unable to appoint a lawyer for them because of the difficult financial conditions of their relatives. The families appealed to human rights organizations to exercise their moral and humanitarian duties to put pressure on the Iranian regime to stop issuing unfair rules against their sons.
The Iranian intelligence service has arrested an Ahwazi young after his return from Sweden.
Source quoted to Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights that an Ahwazi young Named as Mr. Hamzeh Haji Zadeh was arrested on 6th of September 2017. There is no clear information about the arrest of Mr. Haji Zadeh and the detainee’s family could not see or made any contact with their son.
Despite the wide search and follow-up of the family through different intelligence departments, the family were unsuccessful to get any news about their son.
The Iranian intelligence service arrested an Ahwazi young after his return from Australia and taken to unknown distention on Monday 25th of August 2017.
Mr. Hamzeh Sawari is an Ahwazi young that return to Ahwaz in recent day, been arrested by Iranian intelligence service.
Also the Ahwazi Centre published a report about Ahwazi young that been arrested after their return to Ahwaz.
Also, recently Mr. Maher Kaabi, an Ahwazi political prisoner who is serving his prison sentence in exile in Ardabil prison north of Iran, wrote a letter to the UN Special Rapporteur Mrs Asma Jahangir, detailing the Iranian occupation regime’s interrogations involving torture, forced interviews and false confessions and threats by security forces, to be the cause of his mother’s heart attack.
