Iranian occupation regime’s extrajudicial killings of an Ahwazi citizen and wounding other two

The Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights (ACHR) has received three videos today Friday, March 5, 2021, that were recorded from CCTV camera, shows that the Iranian occupation regime’s intelligence service has chased three Ahwazi citizens while they were driving the car, and open fire towards them led to killing one of them and wounding other two.

The Ahwazi young killed today named Mr. Mahir Haidari (profile picture) son of Karim where he was the main car driver, and the other two wounded Ahwazi citizens, the Centre could not identify their name so far, one of them has been arrested and the other one escaped to safe place up to the writing of this report.

 According to the videos shows the Ahwazi citizens’ car windows and all over broken due to direct shooting from the Iranian occupation regime and after a few hours from incident took place, the occupation regime’s intelligence service could not move the car to take the dead body from.

According to a source within Al-Ahwaz stated to the Centre that Ahwazi targeted today were (political/cultural not confirmed yet) activists and all are residents of “Al-Thoura” (Alawi in Persian) neighborhood of Ahwaz capital. 

The Iranian occupation regime has intensified and tightened its security state in Al-Ahwaz after the execution of four Ahwazi activists in the early hours of Monday the 1st of March 2021.

The Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights strongly condemns the Iranian occupation regime extrajudicial killing of Ahwazi young and call upon international human rights organization and defenders to condemn Iranian’s heinous crimes in Al-Ahwaz.
