An Unknown Fate of Prisoner Ahmed Al-Metweri in Iranian Prison
According to information received by the Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights (ACHR), the Iranian intelligencearrested a young activist Ahmed al-Metweri in the city of Muhammara on May 17th and transferred him to an unknown location.
Activists said that the Persian occupation intelligence service beat the prisoner in front of his family in clear violation of all international conventions.
Activists pointed out that the family of the detainee Ahmed al-Metweri searched for their son who was detained in several prisons, but the authorities refused to provide any information about the place of his detention.
It is noteworthy that the Iranian intelligence services conducting a large-scale raids and arrests in all the cities of Ahwaz from beginning of 2018 aimed at the Ahwazi activists to spread fear in the Ahwaz.
More importantly, family members of prisoners are very worried about their child’s situation becauserecently another young Ahwazi, Hatam Marmazi died under torture in Iranian prison. Hatam was stolen a year ago by the Iranian intelligence.
