Massive arrests campaign against Ahwazi youth

According to reliable source quoted to Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights (ACHR) that the Iranian security service has arrested an Ahwazi young on Thursday the 1st of February 2018.

The Ahwazi detainee named as Dawood Khasraji, 28, is married and resident in Ahvaz capital, arrested by the Iranian intelligence’s agents on Thursday the 1st of February 2018.

In contact by detainee’s brother who applied for asylum in one of the European countries, said to ACHR that “At 5am on Thursday morning, three security forces cars (civilian cars and without car’s plat numbers) raided the home of my brother that is Dawood Khasraji, led to arrest of my brother in which intelligence raid caused state of horror and fear among our family especially children at the home.”

“my brother is selling car’s spare parts and he does not have any political activity,” the detainee’s brother continues.

There is no information available on the reasons for the arrest and fate of the Ahwazi detainee Dawood Khasraji, and ACHR’s attempt to learn more about the fate of the Mr. Khasraji continues up to written of this report.

The ACHR has received video that shows Iranian intelligence tried to kidnap a student at an educational institution called “Andishah” a few days ago, which is located near the “Sa’at” roundabout in Ahwaz capital.

In the video that shows car without plates or numbers and a group of people (intelligence agents) in civilian clothes came out of the car and then tried to grab the Ahwazi young and forced to enter the car, but he resisted them and then enter a group of people and freed him from their hands.

The Iranian intelligence service has arrested an Ahwazi girl named as Ma’edeh Sha’bani-Nejad (Amouri) with her uncle Mahmoud Amouri as well as her aunt Mrs Mahnaz Amouri on Thursday the 25th of January 2018.

Ma’edeh Sha’bani-Nejad (Amouri) with 15-year-old (born in 2003), been arrested previously on Tuesday 17th of October 2017 by Iranian intelligence service. Ma’edeh is a student from Abadan city.

Mr. Mahmoud Amouri (Ma’edeh’s uncle) is at age of 35 and Mrs Mahnaz (Ma’edeh’s aunt) is at age of 32, been arrested where Ma’edeh where hiding herself in their home due to fear of being arrested by Iranian intelligence service.

The intelligence service could not arrest Ma’edeh, but they have arrested her from her mobile that was registered with Iranian mobile network that led to her place.

Ma’edeh was arrested before and then released by heavily financial bail after two weeks’ arrest where the intelligence service told her to stop talking in the favour of the Ahwazi Arab.

In contact by Ma’edeh’s father that applied for asylum in Austria, Mr. Shahid Sha’bani said “I have no information from my daughter and my brother and his wife since their arrest in the 25th of January 2018. I appeal to all human rights organisations to help me in putting pressure on Iranian regime to reveal the fate of my family that been arrested a few days ago. “

The Iranian security forces and police has raided the village of Haj Hussein Saleh al-Kaabi, the father of the martyr leader Abdullah al-Kaabi in the Shuaibya city on Friday, January 5, 2018, and arrested Mohammed al-Kaabi, 19, taken to an unknown location.

At the same time, the security forces raided the village of Majeed al-Kaabi in the Shuaibya area and arrested Ali al-Kaabi and took him to an unknown location and the fate of these two youths is still unknown since their arrest on Friday, January 5, 2018.

Also the Persian occupation authorities arrested an Ahwazi young named as Karim son of Issa al-Kaabi, 30 years old, in the city of Tester on Tuesday, 2 January 2018, on the charges of incitement to participate in the popular protests that swept the occupied Al-Ahwaz in the beginning of current year.

The sources added that the family of Karim al-Kaabi, who does not know the place of his arrest, calls on institutions and international organizations to intervene urgently and pressure on the Persian occupation state to reveal his fate.

The Iranian intelligence service has also arrested other two Ahwazi young named as Mr. Sajad Deylami and Ahwazi poet named as Mr. Abdullah Silawi son of Mohsen in recent days in Al-Ahwaz.

In a series of arrests carried out by the Iranian intelligence in the Al-Ahwaz, “Ahwazi activist Mr. Sajad Deylami was arrested from the Ahwaz capital through a raid on his house, where the intelligence service did not disclose any information regarding Sajad’s arrest, according to Sajad’s family.
