An Ahwazi child is facing an unknown fate after being abducted by the Iranian intelligence forces also known as Ettela’at.
Ettela’at arrested Ali Bani Tarif in June 2017, while his parents appealed to international human rights organizations to seek help and urge Iranian government to release his son.
The source close to Ali Bani Tarif’s family appealed to Ahwazi Centre for Human Right organizations to fulfil their legal and humanitarian obligations to put pressure on the Iranian Authority through United Nations to release their son. Ali was kidnapped by the Ettela’at more than a month ago.
On the 22nd of June, Ettela’at forces, in seven vehicles with the Iran Revolutionary Guards Corps, attacked the Alabara east of Al-Ahwaz and arrested Ali Bani Tarif 16-year-old and transferred him to unknown location in Al-Ahwaz.
According to reliable source, Ali was transferred to Ettela’at intelligence prison cells on the 24th of June 2017 and since then his parents don’t know what is going to happen to their son.
Iranian intelligence Authority is not answering any questions and left Ali’s family to suffer mentally.
Ahwazi activists said that the prisoner Ali Bani Tarif was active in social media, like hundreds of other Ahwazi activists.
Human rights activists from Al-Ahwaz by expressing their deep concern through the Centre, stated their fear that the prisoners were subjected to torture inside the interrogation room in order to make Ali confess to things that he hasn’t done.
Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights strongly condemns the abduction of an Ahwazi youth and calls upon the united nations’ forced disappearance department to put pressure on Iran to reveal the fate of detainee as soon as possible.
