On September 7 2021, a Major of police station number 11 in Abadan city was shot dead after chasing two Ahwazi young citizens.
No one is sure of what happened to Major Mehdi Azmoun and how the Major died during his duty. Still, Iranian security thugs didn’t hesitate to blame Ahwaz youth running away from the Major.
On October 12, Iranian security forces released the below video to show that they had found and arrested what they claimed was the “killer of the Major” Milad Ghazbanian in the canebrake, where he was hidden from the security forces.

“A person named (MG), a fugitive killer who shot and killed Major Mehdi Azmoun during the pursuit of the accused by police officers, was killed during an operation”.
According to the report, a police officer named Capt. Judas was also injured in an armed clash while trying to arrest the killer.
Several weapons and ammunition were reportedly seized during the operation, and two accomplices of the killer were arrested during the operation.
Major was shot in the eye on Tuesday afternoon, September 7, during a chase by a criminal gang on Laleh Street in the Feyh area of Abadan.”
The first publication and the video shows that Iranian security forces caught Milad in the canebrake, but the second publication shows that he was killed during a pursuit.
Iranian security forces didn’t and couldn’t prove that Milad Ghazbanian was the killer; how were the Iranian security forces allowed to shoot to kill an unarmed Ahwazi citizen?
Even if he was the killer, he should’ve gone through a proper channel where he should be given the opportunity to defend himself in a fair, open court! Did Iranian security thugs give him this opportunity? Of course not. Ahwazi life does not matter to the Iranian regime.
according to the local sources qouted to the centre that the Iranian regime has killed Milad within the intelligence service detention cells as Milad was arrested on the 12th of October 2021 and the intelligence officer has killed Milad in the same way ( shooting in his eye) as the major died. if there was persuant against Milad, why he should be shut from near distance and in the toilet ??? if there was a chase, where are the weapons and ammunition siezed ??
