Iranian advertisement for Ahwazi migrations to other cities

The Iranian regime’s crimes is not limited to the severe impoverishment, high unemployment, mass suicide, severe air and environment, water diversion and lack of health facilities against Ahwazi people in which the criminal regime is using advertisement to lure Ahwazi people to migrate and invest in Iranian northern city of Mashhad.

While the Iranian criminal regime is intensifying demolitions of Ahwazi homes in different part of Al-Ahwaz adding to that injuring the resident of destroyed home, in contrast Ahwazi activists are documenting advertisements by Iranian estate agencies.

In an advertisement by one of the estate agencies posted on the website of “Divar.ir” offering thousand of land with dimensions of 100, 200, 500, 1000 and 10000 meters in urban settlement of “Majidiyeh” of Mashhad city.

The price of each meter for the mentioned lands is between 300 thousands to 700 thousands Iranian Toman.

The same estate agency is advertising another lands located in the “Shandiz” settlement of Mashhad city. The agency posting advertisement of two thousands lands in which each 250 meters land cost between one to five million Toman per meter.

The Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights has talked to an Ahwazi man who has migrated to Yazd city in last two to three years. The man said “ I was frustrated to find any job opportunity as I have family and I need to work and make money to provide life necessities for my family. Until I saw the offers of buying  land in Yazd city with really cheap and affordable price along to that I can find job easily.”

“ I have job now in Yazd and brought my family to live in Yazd city and I have home and job now”, the man added.

The Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights believe that the Iranian occupation regime is luring the Ahwazi people with shiny offering of owning home that is cheap and job opportunity to displace and demographically change the Ahwazi region in favour of Persian settlers. The Centre calls upon the international human rights organisations such as United Nations to put pressure on Iranian criminal regime to stop its vicious policies implemented against Ahwazi people.
